Sizing
Our plant is designed for small precision components.
Maximum dimensions we can accommodate are 1100mm x 550mm x 550mm.
Semi-hard Anodising
Semi-hard anodising refers to a type of anodising process where the anodic coating is thicker than the standard, but not as thick or as durable as hard anodising. It typically offers enhanced wear and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for components that need more durability than regular anodising but don’t require the extreme toughness of hard anodising.
MIL-A-8625 Type II – Sulfuric Acid Anodising: 10-25 microns
Coloured Anodising
Coloured anodising is a process where an anodic coating is applied to aluminium, through an electrochemical process that creates a porous oxide layer on the metal's surface, which can then absorb dyes or pigments to produce vibrant and long-lasting colours. The result is not only aesthetic but also provides added protection against corrosion and wear.
Colours: Clear, Black, Blue, Green, Gold, Yellow and Red.
MIL-A-8625 Type II – Sulfuric Acid Anodising: 10-25 microns
Hard Anodising
Hard anodising creates a thick, durable oxide layer on the surface of aluminium. This layer is much harder and more wear-resistant than standard or semi-hard anodising, offering superior protection against corrosion, abrasion, and environmental factors.
This hardened layer is typically about 60-70% harder than the aluminium substrate itself, making it ideal for parts that experience high wear or harsh conditions.
MIL-A-8625 Type III – Hard Anodising: 25-150 microns
